CORPORATE SPONSOR CHAIR

DESCRIPTION

Friends Junior Committee (FJC) is one of the Community Friends volunteer groups of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  We are a group of young professionals that support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through fundraising, volunteer service and social networking.

The corporate sponsor chair would:

  • Lead efforts to reach out to potential corporate sponsors to educate them about the benefits of working with the FJC
  • Develop a process for soliciting and tracking sponsorship leads in the community
  • Communicate with the FJC board, FJC members, and general public to help identify potential corporate sponsors
  • Work with Membership Committee to get sponsorship message out to FJC members
  • Research and develop prospective corporate sponsors.
  • Become a member of FJC (Minimal: $35 basic annual membership)

SKILLS 

  • Experience in fundraising of some type (alumni campaigns, political campaigns, other non profit work)
  • Ability to communicate well with others both in person and on the phone
  • Reliable work ethic
  • Ability to work approximately 3 hrs a week on average

Ability to commit for two years.
