Attend a FJC fundraiser and join a fundraising committee

FJC always needs a lot of FJC members to join either the Party Atlanta Committee and/or the Cheers for Children Committee to make both of these yearly fundraising events a great success!

Party Atlanta

The concept of Party Atlanta is to plan a pub/club crawl in an exciting area in Atlanta where participants can receive many perks from the participating restaurants, bars, and clubs. With a low cost structure for this event, the ticket price can be kept low, maximizing the attendance and overall success of the event but also raising a lot of money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This event has been a huge success and FJC hopes to continue hosting this event for many years to come.

FJC is very excited to announce that the 4th annual Party Atlanta will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Midtown. Stay tuned for more details!

The 3rd annual Party Atlanta was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Midtown. Tickets were $20/$25 at the door and the night kicked off at Front Page News from 7-9:30PM, Flip Flops from 9:30-11:30PM and ended at Opera from 11:30-2AM.  Attendees enjoyed dinner specials, drink specials, live music, no cover charges and VIP lines.  There were about 350 young professionals that attended and each participant received 1 complimentary Prarie Vodka or Kilo Kai Rum drink per venue.  It was a great success and raised thousands of dollars for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

FJC made some minor tweaks to the overall event and the second annual Party Atlanta was held on October 4, 2008 in Midtown from 8pm to 2am with three participating restaurants and clubs. Tickets were $20/$25 at the door and attendees followed an organized schedule for the night. Party Atlanta 2008 kicked off at Vickery's at 8pm where participants received free appetizers, a complimentary cocktail, fantastic drink specials and meal discounts. Attendees won prizes, giveaways and participated in a silent auction. Twisted Taco was the second stop of the night at 10pm where participants avoided cover, received a complimentary cocktail, drink specials and participated in karaoke upstairs. Finally, Party Atlanta made its way to Sutra at 12am, where participants avoided club cover charges until 12:30am, got VIP express access into the club, received a complimentary cocktail, drink specials, and got snapped at the Paparazzi Wall.

The first Party Atlanta was a huge success and took place on December 7, 2007 from 7pm to 2am in Midtown with 15 participating restaurants and clubs. Tickets were $20 and attendees were able to visit any participating restaurant and club in no particular order. Participants received drink and appetizer specials, avoided club cover charges and got VIP express access into many of Midtown's favorite nightspots including Cosmo/Lava Lounge, Front Page News, Fuego, Halo, Loca Luna, Opera, Shout, Sutra, Spotted Dog, Sweet Lowdown, Tap, Trois, Twisted Taco, and Vickery's.

Cheers for Children, A Cause to Celebrate!

The concept of Cheers for Children is to plan a more sophisticated, up-scale fundraiser at an exciting venue in Atlanta. Participants will still receive many benefits such as free entry, catered food and complimentary cocktails. There will be a live band and plenty of dancing. Attendees can win prize giveaways and participate in a large silent auction. In order to cover costs and still raise money for Children's, this event has a higher cost structure and therefore the ticket price is set at a higher level.

The 2nd annual Cheers for Children was a huge success and took place on Saturday, May 8th at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery from 7PM-12AM featuring live music from That 80's Band.  Attendees enjoyed free drinks with sponsors Grey Goose Grey Goose, Gordon Biersch, Finnish Line and a selection of red and white wine. Other drinks were available to purchase.  There was complimentary hand rolled sushi, a pasta bar, build your own bruschetta station and desserts.
The large silent auction featured Air Tran tickets, a stay at the Four Season, resort packages, gift certificates to Atlanta's finest restaurants and bars, autographed sports paraphernalia and tickets to the Hawks, Thrashers and much more. There was also free parking and a free souvenir to all guests  that attended.

The first year that FJC hosted this event was 2009.  Cheers for Children, A Cause to Celebrate kicked off on Saturday, May 16th at 6pm at Andrews Upstairs in Buckhead. Participants received free entry, hors d'oeuvres and featured cocktails. The Francisco Vidal Band entertained the crowd with live music and attendees won prize giveaways and participated in a large silent auction.
