Events & Activities

FJC plans many great activities and events throughout the year. Members find that they are not only able to help a great cause, but also have a fun time in the process.

• Fundraisers - FJC sponsors two large fundraisers each year, Party Atlanta in the fall and Cheers for Children, A Cause to Celebrate, in the spring.

• Hospital Volunteering - FJC hosts monthly patient parties at Egleston where volunteers are able to interact with patients and their families.

• Social - FJC sponsors a social on the 2nd Thursday of almost every month starting at 7pm to give attendees a chance to catch up with friends, meet new people and find out the latest FJC happenings and upcoming opportunites to get more involved. Locations rotate among some of Atlanta's hottest restaurants. Socials are free for members and $5 for non-members. There are generally free appetizers, drink specials and special prize opportunities the night of the event to help raise money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

• Special Events - FJC offers additional opportunites throughout the year to raise money for Children's while socializing with other FJC members. Recent special events have included volunteering at Children's Hope & Will Ball, participating in a local 5K race, attending a live taping of America's Got Talent at the Cobb Energy Center and selling CD's at the Bryan Adams/Foreigner concert at the Verizon Amphitheatre.
