SOCIAL VICE-CHAIR
DESCRIPTION
Friends Junior Committee (FJC) is one of the Community Friends volunteer groups of
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We are a group of young professionals that support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through fundraising, volunteer service and social networking.
The Social Vice-Chair would:
- Attend eight Happy Hours planned throughout the year
- Support Social Chair to plan and execute monthly FJC Happy Hours
- Have Assignments that may include: securing special prize opportunities, writing thank you notes after the social to the hosting venue, picking up and dropping off supplies, creative table tents listing upcoming FJC events, etc.
- Become a member of FJC (Minimal: $35 basic annual membership)
- Attend a few board meetings per year and try and attend socials and fundraisers – Party Atlanta & Cheers for Children
SKILLS
- Strong communication skills a plus for position
- Outgoing personality
- Enjoys meeting and developing relationship with others
- Reliable work ethic
- Ability to work approximately 5 hrs a week on average
Ability to commit for one year
