Volunteer at one of our special events
We offer FJC members additional opportunities to meet other FJC members, have fun, and help raise money for Children’s. Our special events change from year to year but we try and take advantage of opportunities that are present and are in line with our mission.
A couple of exciting events that FJC participated in recently was attending a live taping of America’s Got Talent at the Cobb Energy Center and selling CD’s at the Bryan Adams/Foreigner concert at the Verizon Amphitheatre.
A few of our regular events include volunteering at Children's annual Holiday Gala and Hope and Will Ball. Members also have the opportunity to take part in the CVS Strong Legs race and represent FJC at a dance marathon put on by a local university.
On the horizon, the special events committee is working with various venues to staff concession stands for concerts and sporting events as well as exploring new avenues for fundraising opportunities.
