WEB CREATIVE DESIGNER
DESCRIPTION
Friends Junior Committee (FJC) is one of the Community Friends volunteer groups of
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We are a group of young professionals that support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through fundraising, volunteer service and social networking.
We currently have great flexible opportunities for web graphic designers. This person may:
- Help to populate newsletter template monthly to send out to FJC membership
- Help design web creative materials and layout for FJC fundraiser websites
- Help design creative materials for fundraisers – Party Atlanta & Cheers for Children
- Help design creative materials for FJC organization level
- Become a member of FJC (Minimal: $35 basic annual membership)
SKILLS
- Experience with current web development technologies (XHTML, CSS, PHP, etc.)
- Experience designing CSS-based and/or Content Management System (Joomla, Mambo, etc.) templates a plus
- Fluent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop and has recent versions of these programs
- Basic publication & print design experience (newsletters, etc.)
- Reliable work ethic
- Ability to work approximately 5 hrs a week on average
Ability to commit for one year
